After much prayer, planning, and hard work, the van Vegten Family and the woodworking shop of Gathering Wood have moved from Southern California to the lovely Bluegrass region of Central Kentucky.

Well situated in Scott County, between Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort, Georgetown, and Cincinnati, Gathering Wood makes its home at 701 NE County Line Road in Sadieville, Kentucky.

Our home and woodworking shop are peacefully planted on ten acres along a country road off I-75. We are looking forward to exploring and learning about our new home-state of Kentucky.

The moving rig just left a few days ago and we are getting unpacked and settled into our new home and woodworking shop. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you; the shop is already carving out lovely accessories for your home.
